1. Online Post Preference Allocation
- Action Required: Qualified candidates under specific advertisements (e.g., Advt. No. 08/2024) must log in to the HSSC online portal and fill out their post choices in order of preference before the closing date.
- Important Note: If a candidate fails to submit post preferences online within the stipulated timeframe, the Commission reserves the right to allocate posts based on merit and standard administrative rules.
2. Physical Screening Test (PST) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Absentee Policies: HSSC frequently designates specific “Reserve Days” for candidates who could not attend their scheduled PST or PMT due to valid medical reasons or overlapping examinations.
- Documents to Carry:
- Original admit card with a recent self-attested passport-size photograph pasted on it.
- Government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, or Passport).
- Supporting document or medical certificate if attending on an absentee reserve day.
3. Biometric Verification Protocols
Candidates called for biometric verification must ensure that their facial and fingerprint data match the records logged during the written examination. In cases of temporary biometric mismatches (due to skin injury or ink stains), candidates are routed through a manual verification process using original application forms and identity proofs.
